Waclaw Lukowicz, the Chairman of Muro Consulting, holds a joint Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Germany and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He brings with him a breadth of strategic commercial experience in tackling complex global business development challenges.

Waclaw has managed strategy projects in India, Vietnam, Germany and Poland in various sectors, including transportation, healthcare, energy and oil and gas.  He has a proven track record of growing and developing international markets across the globe. Among others he held the position of CEO of Siemens Nigeria, and was responsible for driving the turnaround of the Siemens Business in Nigeria and implementing the Siemens compliance Program. In addition to his role as the CEO for Siemens Nigeria, Waclaw headed the Siemens Energy business in Africa which focused on projects in the O&G, Transmission and Distribution and Power Generation sectors.

Between 2010 and 2013 Waclaw was the CEO of the Healthcare Sector Middle East, successfully growing and developing the business in 14 countries and managing a partner network of over 40 Agents and Distributors as well as an extensive sales and service organization. He has also been active on the advisory boards of emerging market governments. He serves on the Board of Directors of companies in Europe and the Middle East. Waclaw speaks German, Polish and English fluently.
